I am Judit Czinkné Poór, a gingerbread artist.

Since 2015, I have been teaching gingerbread decoration from the basics to 3D wonders.

My original profession is a porcelain painter, I studied at the long-established Herend.

I first baked gingerbread about 23 years ago. I was expecting my first child and I thought it would be so much fun around Christmas when he was older…. Familiar? As the years went by, this world became more and more familiar to me. I wanted to make more and more things, and not just for Christmas anymore…

Decorating gingerbread gives freedom, completely switches off, recharges… it can be a real flow experience (+ it’s great that it’s not an age-restricted activity).

Education means a lot, I can’t really put it into words… I feel that I belong, and it’s a wonderful feeling that so many people honor me with their trust.

In the summer of 2016, I was lucky enough to attend Judit’s course, where I learned the basics, and since then I haven’t looked back, only forward. The most amazing and patient instructor I have ever met. For me, he is the most talented artist in the gingerbread decoration category, who explains his valuable knowledge in detail. I am a multiple award winner in various international competitions thanks to him. In Judit’s course, I gained not only knowledge but also a lovely friendship.
